Product Materials:
Uprights: Manufactured from clear solid hemlock or
douglas fir. Two 1 - 5/16" x 1 5/8" stiles have a 3/8"wide x
5/8"deep plow the entire height to receive shelf end channels
and are to be drilled with 3/16" diameter holes on 1" centers to
allow for shelf adjustability. Stiles are locked together with
two or more cross members mortised into the stiles. All
components are machined smooth with all outside corners eased.
Shelves: All shelf materials are machined to
accept aluminum end channels at the ends of each shelf to rest
on shelf support pins. Standard shelves are made of solid pine
3/4" edge glued.
Shelf Support Pins: Shelf pins are manufactured of
non-rusting alloy. Pins are 3/16" diameter x 1 1/4"long
(Shoulder to end).
X-Braces: Consist of two 16 gauge steel straps
with holes punched at each end. Straps are galvanized and
deburred. Straps are riveted at their centers in order to form
an "X" when in use. They are to be attached at the rear of
shelving units. We recommend an X-brace at every other section. |
